Gynaecological Oncology

Gynaecological Oncology

We offer specialist treatment of malignant tumours of the reproductive organs and breasts. As part of oncological treatment, we conduct comprehensive diagnostics and perform necessary surgical procedures. Our care extends to women with newly diagnosed cancers, as well as providing comprehensive prevention and follow-up examinations after treatment has been completed. We also provide care for women at high risk of developing breast, ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and colorectal cancer. In addition, all our patients have access to a psychologist who supports them after surgery in regaining confidence and a sense of femininity.

About Our Gynaecological Oncology Service

Our gynaecological oncology service focuses on both the effective treatment of malignant tumours and the long-term wellbeing of our patients. We conduct comprehensive diagnostics, plan individual treatment strategies, and perform the necessary surgical procedures. Care is provided not only to women with newly diagnosed cancers but also to those who require ongoing follow-up after completing treatment. We pay particular attention to prevention and early detection in women with an increased risk of cancer, including breast, ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and colorectal cancer. Psychological support forms an integral part of our care. Patients have access to a psychologist who helps them cope with the emotional impact of diagnosis and treatment, and supports them in regaining their confidence and sense of femininity.

  • Endometrial cancer
  • Cervical cancer
  • Colorectal cancer

Depending on individual risk factors, this may involve regular screening, imaging, laboratory tests, and consultations to detect changes as early as possible and plan preventive strategies.

Scope of Oncological Procedures

Oncology of the Reproductive Organs

  • Removal of the uterus with pelvic lymph nodes and nodes around major blood vessels, performed using classical, laparoscopic, or robotic methods.
  • Partial or complete removal of the vulva with inguinal lymph nodes.

Breast Cancer Surgery

  • Removal of malignant breast tumours with sentinel lymph node or axillary lymph node removal.
  • Mastectomy (complete removal of the mammary gland) with axillary lymph nodes, with simultaneous or delayed reconstruction.
  • Subcutaneous mastectomy (subcutaneous removal of the mammary gland) with simultaneous breast reconstruction.

Reconstruction & Diagnostics

  • Reconstructive procedures (breast reconstruction) after mastectomy.
  • Core needle biopsy of breast lesions under ultrasound guidance.

Psychological Support and Recovery

A cancer diagnosis and its treatment can be emotionally challenging. We ensure that all our patients have access to a psychologist who supports them throughout the treatment process and during recovery. Psychological care helps patients regain confidence, manage anxiety, and rebuild a sense of femininity following surgery such as mastectomy or gynaecological procedures. This holistic support is an essential part of the overall oncological treatment pathway.
